Chief Executive Officer
Grant serves as Chief Executive Officer of Halkin Inc. He has participated in several companies as an executive owner, board member and advisor. He has been and remains active in several industries including energy project development / finance, industrial engineering / inspection, and GIS software development. Much of his attention has been devoted to UAV initiated data capture, processing, and delivery.
He is a principal architect of a drone-based asset management software platform (SeraPoint), is a registered patent holder for “Methods and Devices for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Based Site Inspection and Scale Rendered Analysis”, and a published author for commercial drone operation’s protocols.
He has completed over 1,000 commercial drone flights in various industries and conditions. His experience and continued passion for drone technology propels his pursuit to develop academic resources and curriculum for future generations of students with ambitions to pursue one of the many constituents that comprise the exciting new world of commercial drone technology.
He enjoys focusing on creating drone operations curriculum and further developing aerial data analysis software technology.
Grant attended the George Washington University and the Unversidad de Nebrisensis in Madrid, Spain. He resides in Colorado and enjoys all the Rocky Mountains have to offer.

Ryan Hall is a seasoned entrepreneur with a diverse background in drone operations, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), finance, and business development. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Halkin Inc., a drone operations and software company he co-founded in 2014 to harness the potential of emerging drone technology.
Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Marquette University and studied international business at the University of Antwerp in Belgium. He previously directed operations for a major NDT firm serving the oil, gas, and mining sectors and managed finances and commodity futures trading for multiple companies.
At Halkin Inc., Ryan led the development of drone inspection services and proprietary GIS software systems for advanced aerial mapping. He has worked extensively with infrared, optical gas imaging, multispectral, visual, and LiDAR sensors. He holds multiple certifications in drone inspection technologies, is a licensed FAA Part 107 drone pilot, and holds a patent for UAV inspection and scale-rendered analysis methods.
Recognizing the growing need for skilled drone professionals, Ryan began developing curriculum and educational resources to bring drone technology into classrooms and inspire the next generation of drone industry leaders.

With over 18 years of expertise in GIS, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, and CAD, James brings a depth of technical knowledge that powers Halkin’s innovative solutions.
From digital terrain modeling to 3D tile generation from drone imagery, James has led cutting-edge projects across the globe — including work with MOMRA (Saudi Arabia), Hansa Luftbild (Germany), AUAV (Australia), and several U.S.-based firms.
Now based in Colorado, USA, James leads our development of SeraPoint and transforming aerial imagery into immersive 3D environments. His role as CTO also includes overseeing server architecture and data security, ensuring high performance and safe operations for all our users.
James holds advanced diplomas in Drafting, Geography, and MicroStation. He reside in Colorado, and enjoys spending time in the Rocky Mountains.

With over 24 years of experience in government service, I have been extensively engaged in driving digital transformation through GIS, Mapping, Remote Sensing, and Drone Technologies. I have led strategic initiatives that integrate geospatial intelligence into policy formulation, decision-making, and public sector modernization.
My professional expertise encompasses GIS platform architecture, UAV-based mapping, and spatial data management in support of urban planning, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure development. With a strong interest in AI-driven geospatial analytics, I am dedicated to advancing data-driven, sustainable, and citizen-centric solutions.
Committed to innovation and operational excellence, I strive to bridge the gap between technical geospatial solutions and strategic governance objectives to support national digital transformation.

Savannah holds a Master’s degree in Social Justice from the University of Colorado Denver (2015) and brings a strong interdisciplinary background to her work as an educator. She has served as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Colorado Boulder, University of Colorado Denver, and the Community College of Aurora.
Savannah has taught a wide range of courses, including Freshman Composition, Public Speaking, Ethnic Studies, African-American History, U.S. Popular Culture, Interpersonal and Intercultural Communication, and Organizational Communication.
She earned a B.S. in Speech Communication with a focus in Rhetoric and Public Address from Metropolitan State University of Denver (2013), and a B.S. in Consumer Sciences from Colorado State University (1998).
Currently, Savannah is an Assistant Professor of Communication & Arts in Garden City, Kansas, where she promotes student-centered learning and emphasizes the power of communication in education. She also serves as Director of Education at Halkin Inc., where she leads partnerships with higher education institutions and coordinates a specialized drone curriculum aimed at expanding access to careers in emerging technologies. She played a key role in developing the company’s textbook, helping shape its educational content and structure.

Alan’s family owned a cow-calf to finish cattle operation in western Nebraska, which was partial to performing sustainable farming practices to assure the most profitable oriented operation. He later Judged Livestock on the National Collegiate level where he completed his degree in Agriculture Education from the University of Wyoming. Alan continued his education at the University of Wyoming and received his MA in Curriculum and Instruction after designing and testing virtual reality websites for agricultural mechanics students to learn from. Throughout his college experience, Alan was able to secure multiple employment opportunities in the agriculture industry.
He continues to write agriculture curriculum for schools on the Local, State and National level assuring the most prevalent resources and curricula are available to students, and teachers alike. Alan was awarded the Nebraska Environmental Educator of the year in 2011 due to his precise orientation to details and sustainability. Today, Alan still strives to maintain a proactive approach to advising agriculturists in profit oriented, sustainable manner.

Attorney Brett Buchheit earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut in 1997 and was inducted into the Golden Key National Honor Society for academic excellence. In 1998, he joined the U.S. Peace Corps, where he led a large-scale reforestation and sustainable agriculture project in Morocco.
After returning to the U.S., Mr. Buchheit undertook a solo cycling trip from Connecticut to California, a journey that reflects his passion for challenge and exploration. He began law school in Virginia in 2003, where he served as an editor of the Natural Resources Law Journal and received multiple awards for academic achievement and community service.
In 2007, he was accepted into Tulane University’s esteemed LLM program in Energy and Environmental Law. During his time there, he authored several law review articles published both nationally and internationally.
His practice focuses on complex civil litigation, business formation, and advising technology-driven companies.
Outside the office, he enjoys time with his wife and two daughters, fly-fishing, cycling, and giving back through volunteer work.
